Lottie Bag Workshop (Sunday 7th April)

Join Claire from The Stitch Saloon in this relaxed, self-paced, beginner-friendly workshop that will take you through making your very own Lottie Project Bag by Treehouse Textiles. A wonderful class if you haven't made a zipper bag or quilted project before, or even if you just want to have a sewing day out with some friends!

Date: Sunday 7th April 2024

Time: 10am to 2pm, including a short lunch break

Location: The Stitch Saloon - 567 Magill Road, Magill SA 5072

Costs: The fee for the workshop is $90.00. Included in this fee is a kit to make a bag like the one pictured (please indicate if you would like to change the backing or lining fabric and you will be able to choose something else of equal value from the shop on the day), a printed version of the pattern for you to keep, tea/coffee and lunch.

You will also be able to use our cutting (rotary cutters, cutting mats and rulers) and ironing supplies however you are also welcome to bring your own if they are small enough to just use next to your machine!

What to bring:

• Sewing supplies - pins, sewing machine needles, seam ripper, scissors/snips, sewing machine thread etc.
  
• Sewing machine and accessories. Useful accessories for this project include a zipper foot to install your zipper as well as a walking foot for the quilting and for sewing together the bulky quilted layers. Please let us know if you need to borrow a machine for the day and we can discuss this!
  
• Optional - cutting and ironing supplies that can fit next to your machine, i.e. small cutting mat for trimming or a mini iron/wool pressing mat
